Description
The Marquises hut is located east of the Village Flottant. It gives a full view on the Azores. Its due West position, allows its Sailors to enjoy the sunset savoring a meal basket or a floating aperitif kit.
The Marquises are islands that were discovered by a Spanish during the 16th century. He named them as such in honor of his protector, the marquis of Cañete and viceroy of Peru. The Marquises hut was so named because of its large size, reminder of the yesteryear greatness of this nobility status.
